Esme is a long-sleeved sweater knit mostly with shade #9063 Columbine with a pop of new shade #9023 Wild Ginger at the sleeves and neckline. Knitting begins with the bottom body, working the front and back hems separately before joining to work in the round with an all-over textured stitch pattern. The sleeves are knit with the same stitch pattern, and it's carried through the raglan-sleeve shaping before the ribbed collar is knit.
Sizes: Seven sizes. Bust – 34(38-42-46-50-54-58)" and Back Length – 24(24½-25-25½-26-26½-27)" (front will be 1" shorter).
Materials: 7 (8-9-10-11-12-13) balls of Tuscan Tweed in desired colors. Shown in colors #9063 Columbine (MC) and 2 balls (for all sizes) #9023 Wild Ginger (CC).
PLEASE NOTE: While this pattern calls for Tuscan Tweed, it can also be made with Ultra Alpaca. Size and look of the finished item will be different and, as always, we would recommend swatching before starting your project.
