An allover cable and openwork pattern is the focus of this design. The vertical line of the pattern is enhanced by the lengthened lower band, which is worked in 2/2 ribbing. The snug hood repeats the textured theme. Front edges and vest armbands are ribbed also. A zipper is used for closure. When knit as a cardigan, stockinette stitch sledeves add further textural interest.

Misses small (medium, large). Instructions are given for smallest size, with larger size in parentheses. When only 1 number is given, it applies to all sizes. Image shown in size small.

Lorna's Laces Swirl DK 50% Merino wool/50% silk (50g/150 yd per ball), or other DK weight merino/silk blend yarn.
Cardigan: 11 (12, 13) skeins - shown in color Cedar.
