EYB Criative DK is a luxurious blend of fine Alpaca, Peruvian Tanguis Cotton and Modal.  Cria is the name for a baby camelid such as a llama, alpaca, vicuna, or guanaco.   It comes from the Spanish word cria, meaning "baby".   Criative DK has a cool silky smooth hand and feels great against the skin.  It comes in 100 gram hanks with generous 260 yards of yarn and works up at a DK gauge.  Criative DK has a subtle silky sheen and a beautiful ply and can be used for garments and accessories as well as baby/kids garments.

Fiber Content: 40% Alpaca, 30% Cotton, and 30% Modal.

Yardage: Approximately 260 yards of yarn in each 100 gram skein.

Knitting Gauge: 5.5 stitches to an inch on US size 6 (4mm) needles.

Crochet Gauge: 3-4.25 sc to an inch on size G6 hook.

Weight: DK.

Care: Machine washable in cold water on gentle cycle. Lay flat to dry. We recommend hand washing.
