Kenzie just may be the perfect tweed; unlike some of the other tweeds it is soft and squishy and wears comfortably next to skin. Kenzie has a New Zealand merino, angora and alpaca fiber blend that lend it softness and body, nylon lends strength and silk noils contribute delicate texture and colorful tweed accents. This is a smooth yarn that works up into a cohesive fabric that blooms subtly when wet blocked that also has great stitch definition. We love working with this yarn for garments and accessories of all kinds, which also comes with free pattern support available on Skacel's website.
Fiber Content: 50% New Zealand Merino, 25% Nylon, 10% Angora, 10% Alpaca, 5% Silk Noils (raw silk)
Yardage: 160 yards of yarn in each 50 gram hank.
Gauge: Approximately 5 stitches to an inch on U.S. size 6-8 needles.
Weight: Light Worsted-DK.
Care: Hand wash. Dry flat.
