Iinouiio stands for it is not over until it is over and it is an acronym and pertains to the founders' goal to reenergize the craft of traditional UK textile recycling. The Inouiio project is a passion for the founders and a demonstration of what is possible with wool and luxury fiber recycling in the UK.
From the founders of Iinouiio: This is our first batch of reclaimed wool, made with loving care by Iinouiio’s founders. With increasing concerns about resource depletion, climate change and 'fast fashion', we hope the iinouiio project will be supported. Having knowledge of recycling post-consumer wool from many years ago, we are compelled to offer this alternative as our contribution to change.
Iinouiio Chunky:
Fiber Content: 97% Wool and 3% other fibers (80% off all materials are recycled).
Yardage: Approximately 56 yards of yarn in each 50 gram ball.
Knitting Gauge: Approximately 3.5 stitches to an inch on U.S. 10 needles (6mm).
Crochet Gauge: Approximately 2-2.75 SC to an inch on U.S. K/10½ to M/13 / 6.5 hook (6.5-9mm).
Weight: Chunky.
Care: Machine washable in gentle cycle. Lay flat to dry.
