A super soft and squishy blend of merino, yak and alpaca, Stratus works up at a worsted gauge and makes cloud soft garments and accessories. Stratus has a lofty chainette construction that results in warm garments without making them too heavy, which wear comfortably next to skin. Available in 50 gram skeins with generous 137 yards of yarn, Stratus is a beautiful yarn made in Italy.
Fiber Content: 60% Merino. 10% Yak, 10% Alpaca and 20% Nylon.
Yardage: Approximately: 137 yards in each 50 gram ball.
Knitting Gauge: Approximately 4-4.5 Stitches to an inch on U.S. size 7-9 needles (4.5-5.5 mm).
Crochet Gauge: Approximately 2.75-3.5 Single Crochet on U.S. size I9-K10.5 needles (5.5-6.5 mm).
Weight: Worsted.
Care: Hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry.
Made in Italy.
