A Berroco Aerial and Carousel Pattern - Avalon Pullover (PDF)

Skill Level: Intermediate.

A staple wardrobe piece, Avalon is a textured knit pullover, worked in Carousel and Aerial held together. The body and sleeves are knitted separately in the round from the bottom up, then joined for yoke with raglan shaping. Neck is shaped using short rows.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:

Bust: (36¼, 40, 44¼) [48, 52¼, 56] {60¼, 64, 68¼}" / (92, 101.5, 112.5) [122, 132.5, 142] {153, 162.5, 173.5} cm

Length: (18½, 19, 19¼) [19¾, 20, 20½] {21, 21¼, 21½}" / (47, 48.5, 49) [50, 51, 52] {53.5, 54, 54.5} cm

Shown in size 40" / 101.5 cm. Recommended ease: Approximately 2–4" / 5–10 cm of positive ease.

MATERIALS:

(3, 3, 4) [4, 4, 5] {5, 5, 6} skeins of Berroco Carousel, shown in #4441 Duck Pond, and

 (4, 5, 5) [6, 6, 6] {7, 8, 8} skeins of Berroco Aerial, shown in #3459 Merlot.

Note: The two yarns are held together throughout.

32" / 80 cm circular needles, sizes 4 / 3.5 mm and 6 / 4 mm or size to obtain gauge

1 set each double-pointed needles, or preferred needles for working small circumferences, sizes 4 / 3.5 mm and 6 / 4 mm
