Summer Silk is a dreamy soft silk and cotton blend with a small amount of nylon added for stability, which works up at a DK weight. It has a easy to work with chainette construction and comes in 50 gram skeins with generous 240 yards of yarn. Summer Silk can be used to make garments and accessories that wear comfortably next to skin with ease. We have also used this yarn line for gifts for babies and light blankets and throws. Berroco has beautiful pattern support for this yarn line that is free with yarn purchases at our store.
Fiber Content: 45% Silk, 43% Cotton, 12% Nylon.
Yardage: 240 yards of yarn in each 50 gram hank.
Knitting Gauge: Approximately 5.5 stitches to an inch on US size 7 needles.
Crochet Gauge: Approximately 4.5 stitches to an inch on with a US size 7 hook (4.5 mm).
Weight: DK.
Care: Hand wash in cold water. Lay flat to dry.
