Collection: Malabrigo Rios

Soft, strong, and washable, Malabrigo Rios is one of the most loved yarns in our shop. Spun from premium superwash merino, Rios is a 4-ply worsted weight yarn that’s soft enough for next-to-skin wear and durable enough for everyday projects. The hand-dyed colorways range from tonal solids to vibrant multis, with rich depth and variation in every skein.

Great for: Sweaters, baby garments, accessories, blankets, and everyday wearables.

Fiber: 100% Superwash Merino Wool
Yardage: ~210 yds / 100g hank
Knitting Gauge: 18–22 stitches = 4 inches (approx. 4.5–5.5 stitches per inch) on US 6–8 (4–5 mm) needles
Weight: Worsted
Care: Machine wash cold on gentle cycle. Lay flat to dry.

PLEASE NOTE: As with all hand-dyed yarns, each skein is unique. Colors may vary slightly from what is shown, and no two skeins are exactly alike.  As with all hand-dyed yarns, please work while alternating between different skeins of yarn  every few rows or rounds to blend color variations fromskein to skein to prevent noticeable pooling or stripes. To do this, work a few rows from one skein, then switch to the second for the same number of rows, and continue this pattern throughout your project (we switching recommend every three to five rows).
