A Noro Kashirukuru or Silk Garden Pattern - Block Afghan (PDF)

The traditional log cabin design gets a modern twist in Sabine Tulp’s hands. The center panel is worked first, with stripes of variegated Silk Garden colorway #471 alternating with Silk Garden Solo colorway #17.

The pattern is echoed in the left and right planes that are picked up from the center panel. A wide seed-stitch border in Silk Garden Solo colorway #31 finished this contemporary take (Noro Kashirukuru can be used as a substitute).

Materials: 3 balls of Silk Garden Solo #17 (color A), 5 balls of Silk Garden #471 (color B), 4 balls of Silk Garden Solo #31 (color C).

This pattern can be worked in Noro Kashirukuru and Silk Garden or only in Kashirukuru.  As with all yarn substitutions, please swatch before starting your project.
