Noro Taiyo is a heavy worsted weight yarn with a soft cotton, wool and silk blend. Taiyo is one of the softest Noro yarn lines that works up with beautiful gradual stripes and works up quickly. This lovely yarn can be used to make garments and accessories that would wear comfortably next to skin and wear lightly without making the user too warm. Ideal for Spring and Summer projects that can be worn year-round.
Due to the hand crafted nature of this yarn you may find occasional knots in skeins and color joins may vary. In addition, variegated yarns have subtle variations in colors from skein to skein, which may result in differences between pictures shown and the yarn you receive.
Please note, because of its single-ply construction and high cotton and silk content Noro Taiyo will break if worked with high tension. We recommend carrying along a lace weight plied yarn with wool and/or nylon content if you are planning on a project that requires high-tension stitching.
