A great alternative for those of us with wool allergies, Queensland Uluru is soft and wears comfortably next to skin with a cotton fiber blend. This beautiful yarn has a subtle halo that works up with a loft and looks like it has some alpaca or kid mohair fiber content while it has none. Available in 100 gram balls with generous 410 yards of yarn, Uluru Rainbow can be used for garments and accessories, which will knit and/or crochet with beautiful colors exchanges that stripe.
Fiber Content: 55% Cotton, 26% Acrylic and 19% Polyester.
Yardage Approximately 410 yards in each 100 gram ball.
Gauge: Approximately 7-8 stitches to an inch on U.S. size US 1-3 needles (2.25-3.25 mm). Recommended hook size U.S. B-D. Gauge will vary with projects being planned.
Weight: Sprot-Fingering.
Care: Machine washable. We recommend hand washing in cool water. Lay flat to dry.
Queensland Sunshine Coast is a lovely single-ply, self-striping blend of superwash Merino wool and bamboo. With nice shine and drape this yarn is great for lightweight garments and accessories.
Fiber Content: 70% Superwash Merino Wool and 30% Bamboo.
Yardage: Approximately 290 yards in each 100 gram cake.
Knitting Gauge: Approximately 5.25-6 stitches to an inch on US size 5-7 needles.
Crochet Gauge: Approximately 3-4.25 SC to an inch on US size F-7 hook.

Queensland Cassowary is a superwash merino blend yarn that is available in 100 gram cakes with generous 380 yards of yarn and works up at a fingering to sport gauge. Cassowary is machine washable and easy to care, comes in self-striping color lines and can be used for garments and accessories of all kinds as well as socks.
Fiber Content: 70% SuperWash Wool, 30% Nylon.
Yardage: 380 yards of yarn in each 100 gram cake.
Gauge: Approximately 6.75-8 stitches to an inch on U.S. size 1-3 needles.

Queensland Great Barrier Reef is 100% mercerized Mako cotton and comes in big 100 gram skeins with 273 yards of yarn. It works up at a sport gauge and can be used for knitting and crochet projects that will be easy to care as it is machine washable.

Gauge: Approximately 5.75-6.5 stitches to an inch on U.S. size 3-5 needles.
