Solemate is a fingering weight yarn from Lorna's Laces that uses Outlast technology, a special fiber used by NASA to continuously regulate body temperature from being too hot or too cold. Outlast is a viscose (rayon) fiber that interacts with your body’s microclimate to moderate temperature from being too hot or too cold. Solemate can be used to make long wearing socks that can also be used for light garments and accessories.
Fiber Content: 55% Superwash merino, 15% nylon and 30% Outlast.
Yardage: Approximately 425 yards in each 100 gram skein.
Gauge: Approximately 7 stitches to an inch on U.S. size 1 needles.
Weight: Fingering.
Care: Machine wash cold. Lay flat to dry.
Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock is a soft fingering weight superwash merino blend yarn that can be used for socks, accessories and light garments hand-dyed in beautiful Lorna's Laces' color lines. Both yarn lines come in 100 gram hanks with sufficient yardage for a pair of socks for most sizes. Both yarn lines are also machine washable.
